Metro Archives collects and preserves the historically valuable records that document and reflect the history of Nashville and Davidson County. These records include maps and plats, deeds, marriage licenses and bonds, court records, newspapers, manuscripts, recordings, and photographs that date from 1780 to the present.
The Main Library's Grand Reading Room and Nonfiction Section seating area (3rd floor) are closed May 15–22 for refurbishment.
